I just saw that on BoingBoing as well. I know a certain opera diva who 'sings' duets with her dog - she's fantastic, but the dog could benefit from this!
Awesome video! It made me sad to read your shelter snapshots, because I know each one all too well. I'm at the shelter at least one day a week, usually 2 or 3. I'm tired of people lying to their kids, not thinking things through, and most importantly, NOT taking responsibility for a problem they are helping to create. I tell our shelter employees (the ones that do have a heart, about half) that I don't know how they do it - how they keep from cussing at the assholes, or shoving a foot straight up the ass of the guy who just drug his dog out of the back of his pickup to drop him off at the shelter.
I have been making art my entire life and I have been involved in animal rescue since 2001. I have a son at Texas Tech, a daughter in high school and I have two rescue dogs of my own, a scrapbook of my favorite fosters, and enough junk and art supplies to open my own shop.
